Psalm 18:30 (NIV) says, “As for God, His way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; He shields all who take refuge in Him.” All through the bible, it tells us how the word of the Lord came in a vision or how the word is near you. 1 Samuel 3:1 (NIV) says, ” The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.” Then in 1 Samuel 3:7 (NIV) the word says, “Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.” Then later, the word was revealed to Samuel. The word of the Lord is a tangible experience from God.
Psalm 33:6 (NIV) says, ” By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.” In John 1:1 (NIV) the word tells us, “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.” John 1:14 (NIV) says, “The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
The bible is the living word of God. Jesus is our living God. Our God is alive! John 14:6 (NIV) says, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 17:17 (NIV) says, “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is the truth.”
