Philippians 2:5 tells us that our attitude should be the same as Christ Jesus. We definitely need a new attitude to change our mindsets. Ephesians 4:22-23 says, “Your were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by it’s deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds.”
Attitude is defined as a feeling or a way of thinking that affects a person’s behavior. If you act like a diva or a thug, then people will automatically think you are rebellious and untrustworthy. Well, that’s how I think of people that act like that. I get a red flag and act very cautious when I’m around them. Jesus wasn’t a diva or a thug. He had self control while he waked this earth.
Have an attitude of gratitude. Think of three things that you are thankful for and God has blessed you with. If you can’t think of anything -you are alive, that’s one! There are really more good things than bad things in our lives if we really stop to think of them. We usually only dwell on the bad.
